French Croissant with Cooked Ham and Cheese

A fancy sandwich for those who like to indulge in a late Sunday breakfast

Carefully cut the croissants (no filling) in half lengthwise.

Melt a teaspoon of butter in a pan and quickly fry the croissants.

Coat them generously with slices of cooked ham, cheese and, if you wish, you can add fresh vegetables, e.g. lettuce, thinly sliced tomato or young spinach leaves.
